What is a Reputation?
» In order to tackle the problem of people acting like idiots, we've introduced the Reputation System.
» When people read your posts, if they think it is intelligent, useful or helpful, they can choose to put your Reputation Level up one point.
» It is a way to become distinguished on the forums for your contributions.
How do I view or add to someones Reputation?
» In the future you will be able to trade in your Rep Points for money on an external website run by one of the Staff, so you can purchase goodies from the website shop, like Scripts etc.
What can I do?
» People's reputations can be seen in their Profile, or on the left of any post they make. Next to their Rep Points, there will be a little Plus sign, you can use this to add points.
» You could add reputation points to people that make very helpful and/or important topics and posts.
» You should minus rep people that have done a bad post or topic like if they bumped at the WRONG time.
» You should report people that made an inappropriate post, topic, or their profile is innapropriate.
» You could minus rep people that minus repped someone for no reason.
» You can help people that need help.
» You can report people to the moderators if someone posted something bad or at the wrong place.
What should I not be doing?
» "Rep Bombing" as I have only just decided to call it, is the act where you try and get someone lots and lots of Rep Points. This will be detected, and the givers will be banned.
» You should also not be de-repping someone because you don't like them, as consistent de-repping of one person will also be detected and dealt with.
» Creating alternate accounts to give yourself Rep Points will result in the second account being deleted, and the first being set to -30 Rep Points, therefore gaining Blockhead Status.
Other Information:
» Once you give or take a Rep Point, you will have to wait 3600 seconds or 1 Hour(s) before you can make another.
» You need to have made atleast 10 posts before you are allowed to rate people.
» You must have atleast 10 Rep Points or more to give someone a Minus Point.
