Features
The main focus of RTB has shifted from gameplay enhancement in 1.x to community enhancement in 2.x and above. One of the core elements is the Mod Manager which links in with our online downloads system accessible via the forums however there are lots of other tools for managing your server and your friends.
Mod Manager
The mod manager is an ingame system that allows users to browse, download, manage and give feedback on add-ons submitted by other users via our web interface. This removes the need for having to close your game in order to install and download add-ons and makes the process a lot easier to do. The feature is accessible from the main menu and requires you to have an account on our forums in order for your file ratings, comments and bug reports to be submitted.

IRC Client
The IRC Client gives all users a place to talk freely in and can be opened from the main menu or while you’re in a server. The chat is regulated by an IRC Bot and also makes use of cuss filters and spam protection. The IRC also allows users to send private messages to eachother and will even notify you with a small pop-up if you receive a private message.
Server Control
Blockland has always had add-ons to extend the capabilities of a server’s admin and RTB now includes one too. It is accessible from the standard Admin menu to super admins only and allows them to configure all the standard server settings like vehicle limits, server name and password etc. It can also be used to manage your auto admin lists and even give people manual admin on your server. One of the key features of the RTB Server Control is that it allows add-ons to add their own customizable preferences that can be managed through the interface.
Activity Tracking
RTB posts your information to our webserver which will then display you on a list of users that are playing RTB. People will then be able to see what server you’re on, how long you’ve been playing, and a few other details. You can configure these settings from the RTB Options panel or even disable them completely if you’re concerned about privacy.
Server Information
When hosting a server, RTB will send information about it to our web server. Information typically includes a list of add-ons you have enabled, along with a list of the players currently on your server. This information is then accessible by users browsing for a server to join and they are then able to download the add-ons a server has using our high-speed web server instead of downloading directly from the Blockland server itself which is typically much slower. Again this is configurable or entirely disableable through the RTB Options panel.
